Pav Bhaji with Cabbage

 Ingredients 

Cabbage.    -  1 to 2 cups(finely chopped)

Potato.        -  1 big

Onion b.       - 1 small

Tomatoes.     - 1 (optional)

Peas.             - 1/2 cup

Pav bhaji masala       - 2 tablespoons 

or Gram masala         - 1 tablespoon

Chilly powder            - 1teaspoon

Coriander powder.      - 1teaspoon 

Salt.                             - as needed(2 teaspoons)

Instruction 

Take a pan and add 2 tablespoons oil and add jeera in it. Once spluttered add onion when it gets transparent add chopped cabbage and peas. Sauté or let them to evaporate the water then add boiled potato with half cup water  and all spices. Mash it all and combine well. Add salt and check the taste.

Note: if you add 2 tablespoons Pav bhaji masala then add 1/2 teaspoon chilly and coriander powder.  

Add cilantro and one tablespoon lemon juice.

Now you an enjoy with pav bhaji bun or even fill it up with bread, Dosa or Chapathi. It goes well with those.

My kids love it.  Usually I add cauliflower with potatoes for making Pav bhaji. 

I don’t make Pav with only potatoes. 

I should add carrots or cauliflower. 

This time I added cabbage. My son didn’t realized it’s cabbage. Me too 😊
