Chicken Kurma/ கோழி திரக்கல்

Ingredients 
Chicken.                    - 1/2 kg
Onion.                       - small
Oil.                            - 1 tablespoon 
Salt.                           - 1 teaspoon 

Seasoning 
Bay leaves      - 1
Cardamom      - 1
Cinnamon       - 1 or 2 small piece
Curry leaves.   - few(5 or 7)

For grinding 
Green chilly.      - 5
Garlic.                - 5 
Coconut graded.          - 1/2 cup
Roasted Channa Dalia - 1 tablespoon 
Fennel seeds.                - 1 teaspoon 
Cumin seeds.                - 1 teaspoon 



Instructions 
Wash the chicken pieces well and marinate half an hour with turmeric(a pinch) and salt(half teaspoon)
Then take a deep pan add one teaspoon oil add garlic pods. Once it fried well add green chilies with fennel seeds and cumin seeds. Put the flame in sim and keep it aside or put it in the mixer jar with coconut graded and roasted Channa Dalia.
Now in the same pan add one tablespoon oil add seasoning then add chopped onions. Sauté well then add marinaded chicken. Sauté it well. Then add one cup water. Let it cook well. In the meantime grind the fried spices. Once chicken cooked well add ground masala. Add one cup water and salt. Let it boil. Once you saw the boiling allow it for a minute. Then immediately switch off. It’s a super creamy gravy for idllies  and chapathi, dosas.
