Varagu/ Kodo Millet kichadi(Uppuma)

 Ingredients  Varagu/Kodo millet.   - 1/2 cup Green beans(chopped) - one handful  Carrot(chopped)           - one handful  Peas.                              - one handful Green bell pepper          - one handful Salt.                                - 1/4 teaspoon  Oil.                                 - 1 or 2 tablespoons  Seasoning.   - Mustard and Urad dal, Channa dal,                        Jeera(cumin), Curry leaves.  Instructions  Take Kodo millet and wash it well then soak it for an hour. சாமை சாம்பார் சாதம் & தயிர் சாதம்.

Little millet - 1/2 cup Thuvar Dal - 1/2 cup Vegetables - onion, tomato, carrot, green beans & peas or                   கத்தரிக்காய், முருங்கைக்காய் or zucchini  Tamarind pulp  - 2 tablespoons  Chilli powder   - 1/2 teaspoon Coriander powder  - 1 teaspoon Homemade chilli powder - 1 tablespoon  Gram masala powder  -  1 teaspoon Salt                  - one teaspoon  Instructions  Take a half cup of little millet, Wash it and soak it an hour. Cook dal in a pressure pan. Keep it aside. Then cook little millet in the same cooker with one & a half cup of water.  Allow three whistles then switch off.
