Chappathi Omelette roll
Ingredients
Chapati. - 2
Egg. - 2
Onion(chopped) - one handful
Red capsicum(chopped) - one handful
Mushrooms(chopped) - one handful
Black pepper powder - 2 pinch
Jeera powder - 2 pinch
Salt - 2 pinch
Oil - 1 teaspoon
Instructions
Make Chapati first or use left over Chapati or store bought Chapati. Store bought chapati size is perfect to make a roll with omelette.
First chop or cut all the vegetables as thin slices. Then take a pan and sauté all the sliced veggies. Keep it aside. Take a bowl and put all vegetables in the bowl add salt and pepper jeera power. Mix it well then add two eggs and beat well. Take a dosa tawa or omelette pan(cast iron or non stick). Warm the Chapathi if it is leftovers or store bought Once the pan get heated then pour the half of egg mixture. Let it cook for a minute then place the chapati on omelette. Then flip it carefully and let it cook for thirty seconds to a minute. Make it another one omelette and put a chapati on it. Follow the Same process. Let it cool. Now it’s ready to roll and have it for breakfast or anytime you can have it.
Note:
Chapati size should be little big. I use store bought chapati for this egg roll.
You can put the vegetables as raw slices. No need to sauté it’s your wish.
We can apply garlic Chutney or chilli Sauce or ketchup spread on chapati before put it on omelette or after making omelette.
