Murukku sticks Rice cup - 2 cups Poha/ அவல்/ flatten rice - 1 cup Roasted Dalia/ பொட்டுக்கடலை - 1 cup Omam(Ajwin) - 1/2 teaspoon Chilly powder - 1/2 teaspoon Sesame seeds - 1 teaspoon Salt - 1 teaspoons & little more if needed Oil - 1/2 litter for deep frying Water - 4 cups Instructions First grind poha and roasted Dalia as fine powder. Next boil four cups water on stovetop or microwave(lukewarm) Take a bowl then mix rice flour and poha, Dalia powder with all spices. Add water gradually. Add three cups water with one tablespoon hot oil. Mix it with utensil(karandi)/Spatula well. if you need more water add the remaining one cup water and knead well with your hand and make a dough. Take a deep pan and pour oil in that pan. Take a murukku achu(mullu murukku) and apply oil or water(show it in running tap water) after draining water, fill with dough while oil getting hot. Ingredients Toor dal - 1/2 cup Green beans - 1/2 kg Red chilli - 5 Fennel seeds - 1/2 teaspoon Cumin seeds - 1/2 teaspoon Salt - as needed Oil - 1 to 2 tablespoons Seasoning - mustard & Urad dal, fennel seeds(a pinch of each) Instructions First soak toor dal for two hours. After two hours chop green beans then take a non stick pan. Add oil once it’s heated add mustard and Urad dal, fennel seeds as seasoning then add chopped green beans. Sauté well for ten minutes on medium flame. We can close the pan with lid for few more minutes to cook beans well. Meanwhile drain water from soaked toor dal and do pat dry the dal. Add it to mixie, grind as a coarse with fennel seeds, cumin and red chilies. Add this paste to cooked green beans. Add half salt before adding toor dal mix. Mix well with green beans. Mushrooms - 500gram Thick curd - 2 tablespoons Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 teaspoon Chilli Powder. - 1 teaspoon Coriander Powder. - 1 teaspoon Gram masala/Tandoori Powder - 1 teaspoon Oil - 2 tablespoons Salt - 1/4 teaspoon Wash mushrooms well and slice as two pieces if it is small mushrooms or slice as four pieces if it is big. Then marinate mushrooms with all above ingredients. Keep it aside for half an hour. After half an hour shallow fry in a non stick pan as batches.
